Facebook Lost over $ 7 Billion due to Advertisers' Boycotts

On June 17, various non-profit organizations fighting for social justice called on companies to boycott Facebook due to the refusal of social networks to remove racist and discriminatory user posts. So, many brands - including Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Honda and The North Face - have stopped advertising on Facebook. Thus, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has lost more than $ 7 billion over the past week. He no longer ranks third of the richest people in the world - instead, the top 3 now includes the chairman and chief executive of the LVMH conglomerate, Bernard Arnault.
