During an annual meeting with advertisers, Condé Nast Publishing House talked about plans to create an inclusive work environment. The head of Condé Nast, Roger Lynch, has promised in months to appoint a director for diversity and inclusiveness. The director will be watching videos and materials on websites and magazines on the eve of publication. Lynch's parents said that only 30% of the total staff work in statistics. In addition, Condé Nast formed a diversity board. The main goal of the council is the fight against racism. “Now we need to listen, learn and take quick action to become a positive force in the industry,” said Roger Lynch.

Earlier, Condé Nast Entertainment president Oren Katzeff found himself in the middle of a scandal due to archival abusive tweets about women and a Mexican waiter. Bon appetit, Adam Rapoport, who was accused of racism because of the 2013 photograph. Then Rapoport was accused of racism due to makeup. Later, Anna Wintour was at the center of the scandal. The permanent editor-in-chief of American Vogue has faced criticism due to the creation of a toxic working environment and the infringement of the rights of black employees.
