World fashion weeks around the world are going through a transformation of a familiar scenario, and their organizers are thinking about how to make events safer, more inclusive and even cheaper. In New York, the issue was taken seriously. The CDFA determined that the shows of the season Spring-Summer 2021 can fit in three days - from September 14 to September 16. However, they still left one "spare" day: if there are enough requests, the 17th of September will also be included in the schedule.

So it was possible to shorten the network of displays because of the digital format of their holdings. Nevertheless, it is too early to talk about a complete restructuring: such measures are being taken only for the next event, a final decision on later weeks has not yet been taken.

Due to financial difficulties and the need to rationalize expenses, the shows of this season will be missed by the largest players in the American market - Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs.
