The Italian fashion house Blumarine has a new creative director - Nicola Brognano. He took office in early March this year, replacing brand founder Anna Molinari. Prior to that, Brognano has worked at Giambattista Valli and Dolce & Gabbana, and also founded his own brand Brognano in 2015. The new owner of Blumarine Marco Marchi believes that at the moment the main goal of the brand is to change the company's focus on a younger and more progressive audience, which is why the 29-year-old Broniano is the most suitable candidate for this position. “The Blumarine collections and the style of Anna Molinari have always been my personal source of inspiration and the result of creativity. I’m happy and excited that I’m starting a new movement with a rethinking of the brand’s heritage so that it becomes closer and more understandable to the new generation.” - the designer commented on his appointment.
