Celine showed a new menswear collection in the format of a video called The Dancing Kid. The creative director of the brand, Hedi Slimane, held a show at the Paul Ricard racetrack, which hosts the Formula 1 French Grand Prix. Models roamed the catwalk in rhinestone-studded jersey shorts, oversized animal print jackets and sparkling bombers. The looks were complemented by wide-brimmed panamas and knitted hats in bright colors. For the soundtrack for the presentation film, Hedi Slimane chose the composition They Call Me Tiago, which many know thanks to TikTok.

Earlier it was reported that Celine will skip from regular menswear shows - the creative director of Celine Hedi Sliman will conduct separate shows, if it fits the concept of the collection. Then the representatives of Celine called this decision logical as for the spring-summer 2020 season Hedi Sliman proposed similar men's and women's collections, sustained in the same aesthetics of the 1970s.
